BURTON Albion and warehousing and distribution firm ATL have joined forces for the Championship season.
As part of the partnership, ATL is sponsoring the matchball delivery at every home game.The company’s head office is on the A50 at Foston, only seven miles from the Pirelli Stadium. The 25-acre site is currently being further development with a new high-bay, high-spec, 190,000 square feet warehouse and gatehouse. The company also has a base in Carlisle as well links throughout the UK.
Burton Albion’s Commercial Director Fleur Robinson said: “It’s important for the football club to form partnerships with local businesses and we are delighted to welcome ATL on board and look forward to a long partnership which benefits both the club and ATL.”
ATL provides bespoke logistic solutions for global companies and looks after the DE postcode area for the national Palletline network.
Brothers Joey and Pete Ascott, who own and manage the company, said: “Many of the staff and a high percentage of our customers and suppliers are based in the Burton area. We are keen football enthusiasts and are delighted to be associated with Burton Albion.
