NIGEL CLOUGH'S READING REACTION

19 November 2016

NIGEL Clough says missed chances and soft goals are the story of Burton Albion's away form so far this season.

The Brewers had more shots than Reading, and more shots on target but failed to score whilst the hosts scored three.

Nigel Clough said: "It's very similar to the away form so far this season. We've missed chances and conceded goals, that's it.

"Our general play hasn't been too bad. We've missed numerous chances again today and if any of them go in at any time, even at 2-0 it would be a different game.

"We can't keep missing chances and giving away soft goals.

"We started the brightest in the opening 20 minutes again, we had the better chances and the better situations.

"When you are on top you have to try and get that goal, we're hoping that somebody will get us a goal which changes the complexion of the game.

"We keep going, we keep plugging away and we kept creating chances right up until stoppage time today.

"Even in stoppage time we couldn't get a goal with three clear-cut chances."
