BREWERS APPOINT NEW CLUB SECRETARY

12 October 2016

BURTON Albion Football Club has appointed Mark Dennis as its new club secretary.

Mark, has considerable experience in football administration and has been club secretary at both Luton Town and Cardiff City.

He spent four years working for the Football Association in London before holding several administrative roles at Birmingham City FC.

His appointment will free commercial director Fleur Robinson to concentrate on the club’s development.

She said: “I have overseen the club secretary side of the football club for a few years now but with the club developing rapidly off the field we felt it was time to appoint someone to look after these duties on a full time basis.

“Mark has considerable experience in football administration and will also support the club in other areas.”

Mark is delighted to have joined the Brewers.

He said: “I am really excited to be joining Burton Albion. The club has enjoyed a rapid rise but has maintained that family feel. It has strong roots but now it’s in the Championship needs to expand off the field as well as on it.

“Burton Albion is definitely a club on the up and I want to come and help the club move forward and develop.”
