BURTON Albion commercial director Fleur Robinson has been appointed to the Football Association Council.
The Council has responsibility for a number of specific football-related matters including managing the National League System, sanctioning competitions and matches, approving changes to The FA’s regulations and debating topical matters within the game.
Fleur will be one of only eight women on the 122-member FA Council.

She said: "I am delighted to be joining the FA Council and I'm looking forward to being actively involved.
"I have more than 20 years' experience in football from the Northern Premier League to the Championship and have been involved in every aspect of Burton Albion Football Club from major transfers and sponsorship deals to hospitality and ticketing.
"I hope I am able to bring that wealth of experience to the Council and use it to help support the game we all love so much."
