HOLIDAY COURSES IN ACTION AT BURTON ALBION

25 October 2016

BURTON Albion Community Trust's holiday courses for half-term are in full swing, with local youngsters taking part in the first-ever day at our new Burton Albion Community Football Centre 3G pitch.

The courses, which are available to both boys and girls, are running for the rest of this week from 8.30am to 3.30pm (until Friday) for children aged 5-12 years, with lots of fun lined up.

BACT offers a unique experience to all youngsters who attend, as its qualified Burton Albion coaches deliver fun, exciting games, activities and competitions for children of all abilities.

If any exceptional talent is spotted, our holiday courses are also a great pathway for children to be signposted into wider football sessions and towards joining Burton Albion Academy.

Tomorrow (October 26) will also see an extra special day at our camps, as Nigel Clough will take his Burton Albion first team players to the sessions. The BAFC players will be joining in with the fun and games, allowing youngsters to test themselves in penalty shoot-out competitions and inflatable shooting challenges against their heroes.

JUNIOR BREWERS ONLY - A 10 per cent Junior Brewers discount is  available on all bookings. Also, all children that sign up before Wednesday will get the chance to join in with a squad photo with the Burton Albion players.

Please arrive at 1pm at the Pirelli Stadium (Learning Centre). To become a Junior Brewer, please call 01283 565938.

Thursday will also be a fun chance for youngsters at our holiday courses to get to see behind the scenes at the Pirelli Stadium! The day, along with the usual football fun, will give all participants the chance to see all areas of the stadium, along with chance to do a number of quizzes and picture hunts.

Holiday courses are also available in Uttoxeter. BACT is currently offering the same service to both boys and girls at Windsor Park Middle School, Springfield Road, ST14 7JX.

A Baby Brewers session is also on offer for 2-4 year olds at the Burton Albion Community Hub (Casey Lane, DE14 2ER) on  Wednesday (26th Oct), which aims to offer children the chance to learn new skills, develop their fundamental movements and learn the basic rules of the game in a fun environment.

To book on all of the above holiday courses, booking can be made online at www.officialsoccerschools.co.uk/burtonalbion/ or by emailing bactadmin@burtonalbionct.org. You can also call 01283 565938 or visit the club shop in person during opening hours.
