THE Brewers had to settle for a point after a 0-0 stalemate at Wigan.
The first chance fell to Lucas Akins but his close range shot was blocked on four minutes.Albion also broke quickly from a Wigan corner to win one of their own and put the hosts under constant early pressure.
It took 10 mins for Wigan to threaten and for McLaughlin to make his first save of the game low to his left.

Three minutes later the best chance of the game fell to Powell but he headed Warnock's cross inches wide.
On 77 minutes it was Jacobs who tested McLaughlin, who again parried away.
The best opportunity in the second half for Albion came on 85 minutes. A pinpoint cross from Ward but Naylor headed over.
