NIGEL Clough is delighted with his striking options after adding Jamie Ward to his squad on deadline day.
As well as taking the former Derby County player on loan from Nottingham Forest, the Brewers boss has added young Tottenham Hotspur prospect Will Miller to his squad.
He said: “Jamie will add experience. He’s a full international as well and knows all about the Championship. And we hope he will get us a goal or two. He will give us a bit of spark and aggression. You don’t need too much of that but you do need two or three players who can provide it.
“We have seen Will in a few Under 23 games and like what we have seen. He’s very similar to Jamie in the way he plays. He’s not frightened to get in the six-yard box. Over the course of the next four months he will play a part.
“Hopefully, Jamie and Will can forge good partnership with Chris O’Grady and don’t forget we have Stuart Beavon as well. We have four strikers there and that’s great.”
