JACKSON Irvine’s header against Derby County has been voted for goal of the month by the Burton Albion supporters.

Irvine scored his third goal in as many league games to give the Brewers a 1-0 victory over the Rams last Friday.

The midfielder, who signed from Ross County in the summer, also scored against Sheffield Wednesday and Blackburn, both of which were also headers.

Jackson is now away on international duty with Australia, and he played 16 minutes in their World Cup Qualifier last night in a 2-0 victory over Iraq. The Socceroos will now face the UAE on Tuesday, 11:30AM UK time.

Lee Williamson, Jamie Ward and Tom Flanagan are also away on international duty. Click here to find a full international schedule.
