NIGEL Clough says the defeat against Norwich City is another opportunity wasted as the Brewers went 3-1 down to the Canaries.

He said: "It was a wasted opportunity to get another point."

Chris O'Grady pulled up in the warm up which forced him to drop out of the match day squad, he was replaced by Stuart Beavon whilst Ben Fox came onto the bench.

"That's football unforutnately," said Clough.

He added: "We had Lucas (Akins) back and John (Mousinho) back but we lost O'Grady."

John Brayford was also forced off with an injury just before half time.

"He just pulled his groin when he was passing the ball across the back four," said Clough.

"He will be no good for the rest of the week.

"The first goal was poor to concede but the second goal you're back in the game then when you concede straight away it gives you no chance to unsettle Norwich.

"They are all important games for us that's why it's another opportunity wasted today."
