A big thank you for donating to Age UK Burton who were collecting money outside the ground in our 1-1 draw against Aston Villa.
Both Brewers and Villa fans gave generously to the volunteers with bucket donations totalling £953.80. A further donation received on the day of £47.20 rounded the grand total up to £1,000 for the charity.
This is a record amount for all collections at the stadium this season.
With the money raised, Age UK Burton will be able to provide a better service for older people in the area, providing services such as daily lunch club, dedicated information and advice service, a help at home service which enables the older community to live independently as well as befriending services.
