THE fixtures come thick and fast for Nigel Clough's men as they travel to Oldham Athletic on Wednesday night in the Carabao Cup.
Burton Albion returned to competitive action on Saturday afternoon as they were narrowly beaten 1-0 by Cardiff City thanks to Kenneth Zohore's 87th minute strike.
Lucas Akins led the line against Cardiff, and says the Brewers will go to the SportsDirect.com Park looking for not only a good results but a good performance to go with it.
He said: "All we can concentrate on is the next game as it's the most important one.
"We will go to Oldham and try to get a result because all games the gaffer wants us to go and get results and win games.
"You can't buy that winning mentality and that winning feeling so we will look to get back to winning ways and get a good performance as well."
