KYLE McFadzean says the Brewers will be targeting two wins from the two home Championship games before the international break.
The defender said: “It’s massive and we need to start winning at home. We have to concentrate on the next two home games and try and get maximum points. We wanted to make a good start but if we can get two wins we won’t be far off.
“And if you look at the league table we are only one or two points behind the teams who will also be fighting to stay up so we are not worried.
“There’s no panic here. The Gaffer knows what he’s doing and he’s still getting the squad together.
“The Gaffer has a look before he brings players in to see what kind of character they are and he has brought some really good lads in.”
McFadzean is delighted to be playing alongside one of those new recruits, Jake Buxton, this season.
“He has more experience than me and has played in the Championship a lot longer. He tells me little things that can help me in my game so it’s really good to have someone alongside me like that.”
