JOHN Brayford says that Burton Albion will continue to strive towards achieving their goals, but admits that the Brewers need to be more clinical if they are to find some form in the Championship.
The right back has started the last two games, after being out for over a month with injury. Saturday’s 2-1 defeat to Preston North End was the seventh-consecutive home loss for the Brewers.
Brayford believes that the players are showing that they are giving their all for the club and says that they will continue pushing to achieve their aims.
“There was plenty of heart and desire from the lads today, some people may say that we need a bit more but the lads give everything that they have got and you can tell when some of the lads come off today that they have given everything.
“We cannot really ask for anything more on the work front, sometimes we could be a bit more clinical or keep the ball a bit better but we will keep going and striving towards what our aims were at the start of the season.”
