TOM Naylor believes that Burton Albion’s 0-0 draw with Norwich was the least that they deserved, but says that scoring first will be key if the Brewers are going to start winning at home.
Burton arrested a run of eight-straight home defeats with the stalemate with Daniel Farke’s side at the Pirelli Stadium. Ben Turner and Naylor himself had the best chances of the game, with the latter being thwarted by a good save from Angus Gunn.
Joe Sbarra went close to winning it late-on, but was also denied by Gunn. Naylor says that there are plenty of positives from the draw, but he hopes that the Brewers can start taking their chances at home.
He said: “I think that we need to get that first goal, and maybe even the second goal to see it out. We have defended well today, they are good players and I felt that we dealt with them quite well.
“We needed to get that result, we have not had one (at home) for a while, and it is nice to get a point out of the game.”
