BRIGHTON BETTING PREVIEW WITH TEMPOBET

10 February 2017

THE Brewers face one of their toughest games to date on Saturday, when they travel to promotion-chasing Brighton.

Burton head into the game full of confidence following last weekend’s crucial victory over Wolves and now find themselves three points clear of the drop zone.

Two victories in their last three games has boosted hopes of pulling away from a relegation scrap and beating one of the Championship’s best sides would be a real statement of intent.

But that will be no easy feat as Brighton boast a number of the league’s top-performing players.

After suffering play-off heartbreak last season, Chris Hughton has built a side looking more than capable of being promoted as champions.

With Glenn Murray, Anthony Knockaert, Dale Stephens and Lewis Dunk choosing to remain at the Amex, the Seagulls have a strong core to their side.

But Brighton are out-of-sorts at present, failing to win in their last two, and needing an injury-time equaliser to avoid defeat away to Brentford.

Burton, however, won’t be fazed, and Nigel Clough will go to-toe-toe with their opponents by not changing their attacking style away from home.

The January acquisitions have improved the side with Michael Kightly and Cauley Woodrow both scoring their first goals since joining the club on loan last weekend.

It’s given the squad a new lease of life and now a trip to Brighton seems less daunting.

After scoring his first goal for Burton, England Under-21 international Woodrow will be full of confidence heading into the weekend.

The striker is available at 12/5 to score anytime at the Amex Stadium.
