BURTON Albion’s injury problems are unlikely to ease before Saturday’s trip to high-flying Brighton.
Kyle McFadzean and John Brayford are again ruled out as will be another defender, Damien McCrory, who came off in the first few minutes of the victory over Wolves.
Chris O’Grady is also unavailable to play against his parent club as a condition of his loan deal and fellow striker Luke Varney is also still out.
Albion manager Nigel Clough said: “Damien will be struggling for the weekend and although Luke is on his way back it will be too soon. John and Kyle will be missing.
“It might also be too soon for Lloyd Dyer – it looks like they might all be back together for the Norwich game.”
The injury list makes the transfer window signings in January vital.
Clough said: “Although we have a few missing on Saturday against Wolves we still had options. When everyone is fit we can properly judge the strength in the squad.”
