FULHAM BETTING PREVIEW WITH TEMPOBET

31 January 2017

BURTON ALBION got back to winning ways on Saturday, when they upset the odds to beat improving QPR at Loftus Road.

The victory moved the Brewers away from the drop zone but they have no time to celebrate with high-flying Fulham coming to town on Wednesday evening.

The Whites have surprised many to be play-off contenders this season and continue to impress under the stewardship of Slavisa Jokanovic.

The London side are just five points off six and look to be growing in confidence as the season progresses but suffered a setback against third-placed Reading at the weekend.

Jokanovic will be keen for his players to bounce back and is targeting three points at the Pirelli.

Fulham boast some of the Championship’s most talented attackers with Sone Aluko, Chris Martin and Tom Cairney continuing to impress.

Cairney, who has been subject to interest from a host of other clubs, will remain at Craven Cottage until at least the summer as the January Transfer Window slams shuts on Tuesday.

Nigel Clough also gave Burton a boost during the week after he reaffirmed his commitment to the club.

The 50-year-old has strengthened well during the transfer window but two of his recent acquisitions, Cauley Woodrow and Lasse Vigen Christensen, are unavailable to play against their parent club on Wednesday.

A win is crucial for the Brewers, with teams below them Bristol City, Wigan and Blackburn all having a game in hand, so the table could look a lot different heading into the weekend.

Marvin Sordell looks poised to lead the line as he searches for his first goal since joining from Coventry.

But Luke Murphy, who scored a stunner at QPR, will have one eye on Fulham to make it a London-double for the boys in yellow.
