STRIKER Jamie Ward has returned to parent club Nottingham Forest.
Following the recent management upheaval at the City Ground, Forest wanted to recall the player and Ward expressed an interest in returning.Â
Burton Albion manager Nigel Clough said: “It was in everybody’s interest that the loan was ended early and we will be using the resources elsewhere as soon as we can. We were hoping to get something sorted for the weekend but unfortunately it wasn’t done in time but we will now be pursuing that next week.”
