JAMIE Ward’s strike against Aston Villa at Villa Park has been voted for Burton Albion’s December goal of the month.
Ward scored an acrobatic goal during the 31st minute to bring the Albion level after Villa had taken the lead on 15 minutes through Leandro Bacuna.The Birmingham-born forward was up against some fierce competition this month as Matty Palmer scored an outstanding goal against Rotherham United at the Pirelli Stadium, but he’s won the poll with over 70% of the votes.
