ALBION FORWARD REACTS TO FUNNY INCIDENT AT X-RUNNER COURSE
Luke Varney who slipped when the side did the X-Runner at Holme-Pierrepont on the hay bails on the assault course said: “I said before we started to Tom Naylor and Luke Murphy before that I’d take it a bit easy but once the group began the competitive edge took over me and I finished third. I caught my big toe in the hay and unfortunately fell.” Click here to watch the video.

KIDSGROVE ATHLETIC: TEAM NEWS
Nigel Clough has confirmed that everybody will be involved in the first pre-season fixture, apart from the injured Jake Buxton and Marvin Sordell. There will be 2 XIs, each will play 45 minutes. Jackson Irvine and Liam Boyce will play a part in the friendlies after returning from international duty earlier this week. The Albion manager also confirmed trialist Matty Fryatt will play 45 minutes against Kidsgrove. Click here to read the full preview.

CARDIFF CITY TICKETS NOW ON SALE
Tickets for Burton Albion’s first Sky Bet Championship game of the 2017/18 season are now on sale. The Brewers host Cardiff City at the Pirelli Stadium on Saturday 5 August, 3PM kick off, which will see the return of former Albion boss Neil Warnock. Click here for more information.
