Burton Albion is pleased to announce that Rushcliff Ltd will sponsor the under 16s side as part of the One of Our Own project.
Rushcliff, a local software company that specialises in the development of database applications software, will have their logo featured on the under 16s team's matchday shirts after signing up to the partnership.
The One of Our Own initiative invites businesses and organisations to partner with the Academy, to benefit from the exposure and the brand of Burton Albion, and to help produce players to follow in the footsteps of Matty Palmer, who has graduated from the Academy to make 150 first team appearances, Joe Sbarra, Ben Fox and Marcus Harness.
Tabitha Holland of Rushcliff said:
"We are really excited. We are a local company who are based just a stones-throw away from the stadium.
"Because we have been based in Burton for so long, we are really family orientated so it is really nice to stretch our family arms out to a local club.
"We are hoping to involve ourselves more in the community, we are a small company and a lot of our clients are international, so we don't get to see them face-to-face, so it is nice to have a more personal relationship with Burton Albion."
