BREWERS RANKED TOP IN FSF SURVEY FOR VALUE FOR MONEY

Burton Albion have been ranked the top Championship club for value for money according to a survey done by the Football Supporters’ Federation.

The survey, which was conducted over the course of 2016/2017 season as part of the FSF’s Away Fans Matter campaign, asking football fans to rate their match-day experience travelling to grounds up and down the country.

Fans were asked about their visit on numerous topics including safety and security, transport to the ground, access at the turnstiles, concourse layout, food and drink, view of the pitch etc.

All fans were asked to rate the various factors on the following scale: 5 (Excellent), 4 (Good), 3 (Adequate), 2 (Poor) and 1 (Very Poor). An average was then taken to form the results.

 Some of the results are seen below:

Entering the Stadium: Brewers were ranked 6th out of the 24th Championship clubs with a score of 3.95. The average for the Championship was 3.78.

Prices of refreshments: The Brewers were ranked 1st out of the 24 Championship clubs with a score of 3.62. The average for the Championship was 2.97.

Choices of refreshments: The Brewers were ranked 4th out of 24 Championship clubs with a score of 3.50. The average for the Championship was 3.19.

Behaviour of stewards/club staff: The Brewers were ranked 5th of the 24 Championship clubs with a score of 3.87. The average for the Championship was 3.61.

Overall value for money: The Brewers were ranked 1st of the 24 Championship clubs with a score of 4.13. The average for the Championship was 3.48.
