YOUNG goalkeeper Sam Hornby has joined League Two side Port Vale on a permanent basis.
The 22-year-old came through the youth ranks at Burton Albion and enjoyed loan spells at Brackley Town and Kidderminster Harriers.
He made 38 appearances for Kidderminster last season, contributing to their second-placed finish in the Vanarama National League North before narrowly losing out in the play offs.
Hornby will now link up with Michael Brown's Port Vale following their relegation from Sky Bet League One last season.
