NEW SCOREBOARD TO BE INSTALLED AT THE PIRELLI STADIUM

26 June 2017

THERE will be a new scoreboard at the Pirelli Stadium early in the new Championship season.

Burton Albion Football Club has ordered a new letter-box style scoreboard similar to the one used by Wolverhampton Wanderers.

It will replace the existing scoreboard and will be visible to all home supporters.

Commercial director Fleur Robinson said: “We are always looking to develop the matchday experience at the ground and the new scoreboard will be a big improvement on our current screen.

“It’s now on order and we hope it will be up and running before we get too far into the season.

“It was one of the issues raised in early meetings with the Supporter Liaison Group but was already part of our plans and investment strategy for the football club.”

ADI's Kristian Ball commented: "We're delighted that Burton Albion have chosen ADI's technology to enhance the matchday experience at the Pirelli Stadium. The new scoreboard uses the same core LED technology that we've installed in leading stadia throughout the UK and Europe and we hope that fans and commercial partners will see a very positive impact.

"Much more than a clock and scoreboard, the solution we've designed for Burton Albion has the capability to display dynamic team news, player substitution graphics, and more visual opportunities for sponsors to reach fans."
