BRISTOL BETTING PREVIEW WITH TEMPOBET

3 March 2017

THE games don’t come much bigger than this as Burton Albion head into the final straight of the Championship campaign.

The boys travel to Bristol City on Saturday, who are just three points off them in the table, and victory could open up a comfortable gap in the race to avoid the drop.

Nigel Clough’s men are in decent form heading into the clash at Ashton Gate and are unbeaten in their previous three games – which has lifted them away from the relegation zone.

City, on the other hand, can’t seem to buy a win at the moment and were comfortably beaten by Aston Villa during the week.

This followed their draw with league leaders Newcastle at the weekend but Lee Johnson was furious his side threw away a two-goal lead and admitted they were lucky to come away with a point in the end.

The injury to top-scorer Tammy Abraham is a major blow to the Robin’s chances, with the striker ruled out for the next few weeks.

The Chelsea loanee is vying to win the Championship’s golden boot and has earned England Under-21 recognition after netting 18 goals – he even scored twice the first time these sides met.

January signing David Cotterill has done well since rejoining the club from Birmingham and scored the second at St James’ Park, so should be a player to keep an eye on.

Confidence within the Burton squad is continuing to grow but many were left frustrated by their draw with Blackburn last weekend.

Now attention turns to arguably their biggest game of the season and one the Burton strikers will fancy, given City’s leaky backline.

You can back our boys at 3/1 with club sponsor TempoBet.

Marvin Sordell scored his first goal for the club since joining the club from Coventry and is looking to make it two from two.

The striker is 11/5 to score anytime.
