LASSE Vigen Christensen believes Burton Albion have what it takes to stay up this season.
The midfielder joined the Brewers on loan from Fulham in January and alongside Nigel Clough’s other transfer window signings has made a big impact.
He says: “There is most definitely the quality here to survive in the Championship. It’s a very good squad with experienced players and the ones who have been here a while still on a high after two promotions.
“When you are training you look around and see a lot of good players and even in my short time here we have shown a lot of resilience and the ability to fight back. Even if we haven’t played as well as we have liked we have shown we have it in us to fight and scrap as well.
“We have a very good chance if we keep going the way we have been to pick up the points we need to stay in the league.
“It will be a massive achievement for Burton to stay up this season and we knew we would have to fight all the way to the end of the season. Knowing that makes it easier than for some teams who don’t expect to be in this situation.”
