CLOUGH MAY MAKE CHANGES TO KEEP HIS TEAM AS FRESH AS POSSIBLE

9 March 2017

NIGEL Clough may make changes to his team despite the away draw at Sheffield Wednesday.

The Brewers are at home to Nottingham Forest on Saturday (3pm kick off).

The Albion boss wants to keep his starting line-up as fresh as possible and will assess just how much the energy sapping games are taking out of individual players.

He said: “We have a couple of knocks but we think everyone will be OK after Wednesday.

“Of the injuries, Lucas Akins and Michael Kightly are in with a shout – but that’s all it is at the moment.

“Michael has that quality but we need to be cautious with hamstrings.

“But we are having to make changes just purely based on how hard the games are for us at the moment to get some fresh legs out there and that will be the same on Saturday.”
