FANS' SURVEY RESULTS REVEALED

BURTON Albion fans value the club’s community spirit and family friendly-nature the 2017 survey of supporters’ views has revealed.

Brewers fans were asked to take part in an online survey about the club and 606 responded.
 
The survey asked fans to rate on a scale of one to five how valued they felt as a supporter. It also asked them to say what one thing most made them feel valued and also what one thing made them feel the least valued.
 
The overall value rating was 3.62 out of five.
 
More than 100 fans cited the club’s community work and spirit as the thing they valued the most.
 
The second most cited factor was the friendliness at the Pirelli Stadium and the customer service delivered by the staff and stewards.

Supporters comments included:
 
Burton Albion is possibly closer to its community and roots than almost, if not all, Football League clubs.”
 
“(The most valuable thing about Burton Albion)  is the community spirit and the club's integrity.”
 
“I love being part of a family football club that has achieved so much in a short spare of time.”
 
Burton Albion commercial director Fleur Robinson said: “The fans’ survey is an important snapshot of the views of our supporters and I want to thank all those who have taken the time to respond.
 
“We are delighted that so many of our supporters have a high value of the football club but we are always striving to improve things for all fans and the survey results will be used to inform the choices we make going forward.
 
“The survey highlighted areas of the matchday experience where there is room for improvement and we will taking those comments on board.
 
“The results will also be used by our Supporter Liaison Group which is now in operation and will provide a constructive platform for fan engagement.”
