MANAGER Nigel Clough and defender John Brayford have been nominated for Sky Bet Manager of the Month and Player of the Month respectively for April.
Clough faces competition from Bristol City manager Lee Johnson, Fulham manager Slavisa Jokanovic and Sheffield Wednesday boss Carlos Carvahal.He is nominated after helping the Brewers picked up 11 points in their seven games throughout April, including impressive wins against promotion chasing Huddersfield Town and Leeds United.
John is the only defender nominated and faces competition from Fulham midfielder Stefan Johansen, Reading striker Yann Kermogant and Brighton striker Glenn Murray.
Brayford is up for his telling contribution and his battling spirit epitomising the sides battling spirit with crucial goal line clearances against Huddersfield and Aston Villa as well as his late vital block against Barnsley.
