THE Brewers will face National League outfit Solihull Moors in a pre-season friendly on Tuesday 18 July, 7.30PM kick off.

Led by Liam McDonald Solihull Moors finished 16th out of 24 last season after gaining promotion from the National League North the season before.

They have seen an increase in their average attendance this season, a figure that reaches 891, 220 better than the previous season.

The Moors were crowned champions of the Birmingham Senior Cup at the end of the 2015/16 season.

Seven friendlies were already confirmed prior to this announcement as Nigel Clough readies his men for a second season in the Sky Bet Championship.

Seven pre-season friendlies have now been confirmed:
Kidsgrove Athletic (away): Wednesday 12 July - 7.30pm
Mickleover Sports (away): Friday July 14 - 7.30pm
Solihull Moors (away): Tuesday 18 July - 7.30pm
AFC Wimbledon (away): Friday July 21 - 7.45pm
Matlock Town (away): Saturday July 22 - 3pm
West Bromwich Albion (home): Wednesday July 26 - 7.45pm
Shrewsbury Town (away): Saturday July 29 - 3pm
Leicester City (home): Tuesday August 1 - 7.45pm
