THE Brewers will take on League One side Shrewsbury Town as part of their pre-season campaign.
Nigel Clough will take his men to the Greenhous Meadow on Saturday 29th July, 3PM kick off.Shrewsbury Town and Burton Albion have met ten times in the past but the Brewers have only picked up two wins from the Shrews.
Albion pipped Shrewsbury to the League Two title back in the 2014/15 season under the guidance of Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink.
Now directed by Paul Hurst, Shrewsbury Town will be looking to make steady progress after finishing this season two places higher than the previous season.
Ticket prices are yet to be confirmed but will be announced on burtonalbionfc.co.uk first.
The Brewers will also be taking an XI to face Matlock Town on Saturday 22 July, 3PM kick off.
