NIGEL Clough says that there is plenty of time left in the season to turn around the Brewers fortunes.
“Nobody goes down in November,” he said: “There is a lot of football still to play this season.
“The 15 games we have played have gone, whatever has happened. We are frustrated as we see players giving absolutely everything and because we see mistakes which are costing us that other teams are getting away with.”
Clough also believes his team aren’t getting a break at present.
"That’s right from losing Liam Boyce pre-season to losing at home to Cardiff on the first day, where we deserved to win the game, let alone draw it and we lost to a brilliant goal in the last few minutes. It will change but only if we keep going and keep working.
“There’s not many times in the last 20 years that the club has had a poor run but at this level it’s inevitable at some point. But with 30 odd games to go we still have time to address it.”
