UPN GIFTS SPONSORSHIP TO BACT

17 November 2017

UPN is pleased to announce that from November 17 its shorts sponsorship agreement with Burton Albion FC will be “gifted” to Burton Albion Community Trust (BACT).

This follows the fantastic coverage received in September when Burton Albion played Manchester United at Old Trafford where, as a further one-off agreement, UPN were the club’s first-ever shirt sleeve sponsors. As part of the unique shirt sleeve deal, UPN agreed to “gift” the shorts sponsorship to BACT to help elevate the profile of the great work undertaken by this unique charity.

“I would like to than UPN for the innovative thinking in bringing BACT into negotiations for our first-ever shirt sleeve sponsorship,” said Ben Robinson, Burton Albion chairman. “BACT is an influential partner in all aspects of our local community and also has a wider impact both regionally and nationally."

BACT is a registered charity and an award-winning organisation. BACT delivers programmes across five main themes: Participation, Social Inclusion, Disability, Education and Health.

“UPN were really pleased with the exposure that we received recently across the UK and indeed across the world on the TV and in the press at the Manchester United game,” said David Brown, UPN Managing Director. “I am equally pleased that we can give something back to an obviously highly-committed local charity through this agreement with Burton Albion.”
