BURTON Albion duo Matty Lund and Tom Flanagan were both unused substitutes in Northern Ireland's 1-0 defeat to Norway last night.
Norway took the lead after West Bromwich Albion midfielder Chris Brunt turned the ball into his own net following a cross from Fulham's Stefan Johansen.
Despite the defeat, Scotland's result earlier on in the evening meant the Northern Irish have qualified for the FIFA World Cup play-offs finishing in second place in their group.
The draw for the play-offs takes place on Tuesday the 17th of October in Zurich, Switzerland with the first legs to take place between November 9th and 11th with the reverse fixtures a few days later.
