BEN Turner says it was important for the Brewers to get back to keeping clean sheets and that was the priority at Bristol City.
Speaking after the 0-0 draw, the defender said: "The clean sheet was what mattered after conceding eight in the two home games before tonight.
"We have a lot of spirit and a lot of determination but some times we can fall short so to come back and get a very good away point was important. We shot ourselves in the foot against Aston Villa and Wolves but this was poles apart tonight. We haven't won but we didn't get beat and it's a big point for us.
"Defeats are going to happen, we are realistic about that. To play for Burton you need a bit of character about you and to be pepared to fight and we have lads here willing to do that and who can bounce back.
"It could even have been like the Huddersfield game last year with Marvin's shot at the end which nearly won it for us.
"At the back we have got an average of 31 and the lads are experienced and have played at a good level and it's important we get it right at the back and the team builds from that.
"Against Villa and Wolves it wasn't through lack of trying. We wanted to be on the front foot but left too much space behind us. We knew tonight we had to get back to that clean sheet mentality and we did that.
"We will keep going, will keep bouncing back and trying to get points."
