BURTON Albion duo Tom Flanagan and Matthew Lund have both been selected for Northern Ireland’s World Cup play-off matches at home and away to Switzerland on 9th and 12th November 2017 respectively.
Ireland finished second in Group C, behind Germany who topped the group with 30 points.
Switzerland only finished second in their group on goal difference after matching Portugal’s 27 points, although Portugal’s goal difference was far superior.
The reverse fixture will take place on Sunday 12 November at St Jakob Park, Basel (17:00 UK time).
