NO JUSTICE FOR BREWERS SAYS CLOUGH

3 April 2018

NIGEL Clough says that not winning any of the last four home games is an “injustice”.

He said: “When you look at Millwall, Bristol City, Nottingham Forest and Middlesbrough – to not get a win out of those four games despite the performances and the effort that has gone in is very unjust on us

“But we will keep going and try and put another performance in on Saturday.”

Clough says there isn’t much more his team could have done after suffering late heartbreak as Middlesbrough equalised to make it 1-1.

“There is half an inch difference between us winning games last season and the ball coming back off the bar for them to score yesterday

“We played better yesterday than we did in some of the games we won last season. Sometimes it does come down to that little bit of luck and we haven’t had that.

“We got the team right with Liam Boyce just behind Darren Bent and he was magnificent. That’s by far the best game he has had for us. He was a handful all game and won an awful lot of headers.

“We will tell the squad if they keep playing like that then they still have a chance.”
