DAMIEN McCrory, John Brayford and Jacob Davenport are injury doubts for the Brewers going into tomorrow night’s game at home to Hull City (kick off 7.45pm).
McCrory had to come off in the first half on Saturday at Birmingham, forcing Nigel Clough into bringing Lucas Akins on, who himself is recovering from injury.
Clough said: “Damien’s hamstring was very tight. We will see how he is tomorrow but he’s a doubt.
“John Brayford was struggling to get through the second half on Saturday, so we will see how he is.
“Jacob Davenport’s calf keeps tying up in games late on so that makes him a doubt. And as you would expect at this stage of the season there are quite a few players carrying knocks – Tom Naylor, Kyle McFadzean, Lloyd Dyer . . .
“Darren Bent was ill last week but managed to get through 60 odd minutes. Hopefully he will be OK.
“Liam Boyce got through his first 90 minutes and we will see how he recovers from that.
“We will probably go to Tuesday afternoon and see who is fit and take it from there.”
