LUCAS Akins says that Burton Albion were 'disappointed by everything' in their 5-0 defeat to Hull City but says that the Brewers are not relegated from the Championship yet, and will look to put things right against Derby County.
Akins played the full 90 minutes at right back in the heavy defeat, one which leaves Burton bottom of the Championship table.
He admits that the performance was not good enough but is determined to improve things against the Rams on Saturday.
“You honestly do not go into any game knowing that you are going to take a defeat. You are a professional, so it is disappointing when it happens.
“Nothing is confirmed yet, we just have to try to pick ourselves up and go again now. We just have to work hard, go together and put in a better performance (against Derby).
“We need to put on a better showing than we did tonight, we are disappointed by everything, we wanted a lot better than that. Obviously, it is a local derby (on Saturday), so we want a better performance.”
