TOWIE'S ARG VISITS PIRELLI STADIUM AHEAD OF CHARITY GAME

25 April 2018

THE Only Way Is Essex star James “Arg” Argent wants to see as many people as possible at the Pirelli Stadium on Sunday for our celebrity charity match.

Arg and a raft of celebrities will be taking part in the game on April 29th (3pm kick-off), which is raising funds for Burton Albion Community Trust.

The TV star visited the Pirelli Stadium on Tuesday ahead of the match, for which tickets are still available, as well as several local schools.

"I’m really excited to be playing at Burton Albion - it’s going to be a great day," said Arg.

"The Community Trust is a great charity and it’ll be really fun. It’s something I’m really looking forward to taking part in.

"I’ve been to Burton before, but not for a while, so it's nice to be back!

"There’ll be plenty of entertainment (on the day), so bring your grandparents, aunties, uncles, brothers and sisters. It caters for everyone and there’ll be plenty of entertainment throughout the day.

"I wouldn’t say I was a great player or even a good player, but I’ll be giving it a go!

"I’ll turn up on matchday and whatever team I’m on, I’m sure it’ll be the winning team!"

Singer and TV personality Kerry Katona will manage one of the sides on the day with Katie Price managing the other, while Shayne Ward (Singer & Coronation Street), Warren Phillips (Survival of the Fittest 2018) and Dom Lever (Love Island) have all confirmed that they will lace up their boots to grace the Pirelli Stadium turf in aid of charity.

The latest celebrities confirmed include local singer Kirby Frost, from The Voice UK, while Tattoo Fixers' Jay Hutton will also be taking part.

Tickets are selling fast for the game, which will also see a host of Burton Albion legends taking part.
