NIGEL Clough says that his team are looking to keep the momentum and confidence going against Bolton on Saturday (kick off 3pm).
The visitors are two points above the Brewers on 40pts. Barnsley are level with Albion on 38 points. All three teams have two games left.
Albion have the best current form of the three clubs having won the last two.
Clough said: “It’s not very often we go into Championship games on the back of wins let alone back-to-back wins. We want to keep that confidence going, that momentum - two words that are very important at this stage of the season.
“We are very pleased to be in this position as two weeks ago we didn’t think we would be. We are still in the fight, it’s going to be a big game on Saturday and our aim is to take it to the last day as it always has been.
“It’s not quite a must win but it is a must not lose game if we want to take it to the last day. If we can get that positive result and three points it puts in a much better position than we were three weeks ago.
“We know that Nottingham Forest will compete against Bolton on the last day and we will go to Preston and give them a game so it’s a case of not losing. If we lose we are down, any other result keeps us in with a shout.
“We all have difficult games. Barnsley have Brentford who have an outside chance of the play offs and Derby.
“We can’t concentrate too much on those as what will happen will happen and we have to concentrate everything on Saturday.”
