FANS will be able to pay cash-on-the turnstiles for terrace admission to Saturday’s opening home game of the season against Rochdale.
Fans making a late decision to come to see the Brewers (kick off 3pm) or who wish to bring a friend or family member with them on the day, will be able to pay in cash on the turnstiles at both the North and West Terraces.
Supporters are still encouraged to buy a ticket in advance if possible and will then save £2 on admission across all categories on match-day prices.
Fans who wish to sit down will need a ticket.
Burton Albion Chairman Ben Robinson said: “We are looking forward to another season of great football entertainment at the Pirelli Stadium and we want as many fans as possible to enjoy the opening game.
“We are therefore able to accept cash on the turnstiles this Saturday for those making a late decision to come to the match.
“We are also able to offer a £2 saving for those able to buy in advance and would encourage supporters to do so if possible.”
The advanced ticket prices are available up until 5pm the day before each matchday.
