BURTON Albion Football Club are looking to recruit a Safety Officer within this current season, to work alongside our existing Safety Officer in order that a transition period is implemented in readiness for the 2019/20 season.

You will be responsible for ensuring that the Pirelli Stadium meets the legislation and regulation requirements to enable all events to be held in a safe and controlled environment for the first team home matches and other events held at the stadium including UEFA, FIFA and Charity organised events.

You will report directly to the Commercial Director and the Board of Directors at the Club who will monitor and direct as appropriate in working closely alongside the Deputy Safety Officer, and the Safety Stewards team of staff. Hours will involve attending all events for approximately 8 hours per event, plus 4 additional hours for pre-event checks to include preparing relevant paperwork.

We are looking for someone who is dedicated to establishing and maintaining appropriate systems and controls for the safety and security of spectators and all other visitors to the stadium and making sure that all supporters and guests have a safe and amazing experience during their visit. Full compliance with the Guide to Safety at Sports Grounds is central to this role.
