INJURY UPDATE: DONCASTER

15 August 2018

NIGEL Clough has a growing injury list ahead of Saturday’s home game against Doncaster (kick off 3pm).

He will definitely be without Damien McCrory, who picked a hamstring injury at home to Gillingham that is likely to keep him out for at least three to four weeks. Jamie Allen also missed last night’s trip to Shrewsbury with a back problem and Will Miller is still not back in contention following his long-term knee injury.

Three players who were in action last night are also injury concerns.

Clough said: “David Templeton came off with tight hamstrings with it being his first start and he still has some way to go in terms of full fitness. Scott Fraser missed a couple of weeks pre-season, so he is the same. He’s catching up and was very tired with his calves second half.

“Jake Buxton has a whiplash injury from the nasty fall he had in the first half. His neck and shoulders are extremely stiff this morning and we will have to see how he settles down.

“We will also have to see how Jamie’s back settles down over the course of the week and he then might be in contention.”
