NIGEL Clough was delighted to have been drawn at home to Aston Villa in the Second Round of the Carabao Cup.
The Albion manager said: "That's absolutely brilliant. It's local for everybody and a repeat of our pre-season fixture."
The Brewers know Steve Bruce's side well having played them in the Championship last season and in the Bass Vase game in July.
Clough said: "They are familiar and we know a lot about them but we also know how good they are.
"It's nice to have a home tie, a big club and it's one for everyone to look forward to.
"For both sets of supporters it's great - and a good attractive game. An excellent draw for us."
After six consecutive away draws in the Carabao and FA Cup, Clough was also pleased to finally land a home tie.
"That was frustating so it's nice for our supporters to finally have a home draw.
"We know it won't be easy but you don't get many at this stage. But we will try and get through. It's a winnable fixture."
