NIGEL Clough is expecting to meet a Doncaster Rover side brimming with confidence tomorrow at the Pirelli Stadium (kick off 3pm).
The visitors have won both of their opening League One games and also scored a victory at Scunthorpe in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday night.
Clough said: “We expect Doncaster to be confident and when you are in that run of form you can’t wait for the games to come. They were great three victories and they have probably been the opposite to us in the first two league games. That confidence will be the biggest thing we have to combat.
“They are one of the teams who are more than capable of being in the mix and that’s for automatic promotion not just the top six.”
But the Albion manager believes that a first league win is coming for the Brewers, especially as they keep creating chances.
He said: “In the first two league games we have had over 35 shots and scored two goals so our ratio has to improve. Our ratio of finishing chances has to get better. I hope it’s a good game on Saturday and that we can get off the mark.
“We have scored in all three games so far that’s important. When you are losing 1-0, 2-0 and not creating chances that’s more of a problem.”
