BOYCE CALLED-UP BY NORTHERN IRELAND

23 August 2018

STRIKER Liam Boyce has been named in the Northern Ireland squad to face Bosnia and Herzegovina in the UEFA Nations League, and Israel in an International Challenge match.

The forward, who scored in each of his opening three League One fixtures this campaign, will be hoping to add to his 12 caps for Northern Ireland, which has seen him net one goal.

Boyce started for Northern Ireland in each of their last two international matches. Michael O’Neil’s side faced Panama and Costa Rica, both of whom were warming up for the World Cup.

The first game, which is against Bosnia & Herzegovina, will take place on Saturday 8th September. The match against Israel will be played on Tuesday 11th September 2018.

As a result of his call-up, Boyce will not be available for Albion's trip to Accrington Stanley, which takes place on Saturday 8 September.
