LUCAS Akins says the Brewers squad will look to quickly put the last two away defeats behind them and look for some home comforts against Aston Villa tomorrow night – kick off 7.45pm.
The Albion No 10 said: “We have to look forward now and move on to Villa. That’s another opportunity to turn this around and get rid of the feelings you have in the dressing room after a defeat and on the journey home. It gives us a chance to bounce back really quickly and that’s what we are looking to do.
“We have good characters in the dressing room and we all need to look forward and try and help each other move on in the right direction. Where we are currently is not where we ant to be and we need to work harder and make sure we are in a better position in a few days’ time. The games are coming thick and fast and we don’t want to let them pass by.
“I take a lot of encouragement from the performances and the fact we have created a lot of chances. We have to remain focussed on the positives. There’s a fine line between success and failure and it is those fine lines we need to change to makes ourselves better and more competitive. We have enough in our changing room to make those changes.
“We have had the luxury of playing Villa a few times recently and it’s an opportunity to try and get back to winning ways on home soil. I’m sure the fans will back us again ad we just have to give them something to get encouraged about.”
