THE Brewers travel to Villa Park this afternoon, to take on Steve Bruce' Aston Villa in the Sky Bet Championship.
HEAD 2 HEAD

Burton Albion have met Aston Villa three times in their history, all of which have come in the Sky Bet Championship. The Brewers are yet to beat the Villa, although they were unlucky not to win in the home tie on April 8 2017.
The reverse fixture this season ended in a 4-0 victory for Steve Bruce's men.
BURTON ALBION TEAM NEWS

Darren Bent and Lloyd Dyer are Nigel Clough's biggest injury worries going into today's game at Aston Villa.
Bent picked up a knock on his debut at home to Reading on Tuesday, whilst Dyer could only make the bench after a back problem picked up in training.

19-year-old Jacob Davenport joined the Brewers on loan from Man City on deadline day and could make the bench for the visit to Villa Park.
Liam Boyce was named on the bench on Tuesday after recovering from an ACL injury sustained in July.
ASTON VILLA TEAM NEWS

Villa boss Steve Bruce will avoid making a host of changes as his side welcome Burton to Villa Park, so not to upset the balance, although new signing Lewis Grabban could be handed his debut.
Manchester United loanee Axel Tuanzabe made the bench against Sheffield United and may have to wait a bit longer for his debut, with Bruce reluctant to break up the John Terry and James Chester partnership at the back.
REFEREE

David Coote is the man in the middle this afternoon. The Nottinghamshire-based referee has already brandished 85 yellow cards this term, and four reds.
He was in charge of Albion's 1-0 defeat against Derby County back in December.
He'll be assisted by Nick Hopton and Nigel Lugg with Robert Lewis the fourth official.
