NIGEL Clough could be without another defender on Tuesday at Barnsley after John Brayford came off injured yesterday against Nottingham Forest.
Albion are already without Tom Flanagan (calf) and Ben Turner (calf) and lost Brayford in the 0-0 draw yesterday.
Nigel Clough said: "We finished the game with only one recognised defender on the pitch in Kyle McFadzean."
Brayford is another calf injury and is a doubt for the trip to Barnsley.
Clough said: "We will see how he is but it's unlikey he will play.
"Damien McCrory is fit and he can do it and Lloyd Dyer is an option. Ben Turner might be fit and he can do it as well. We are fast running out of full backs though at the moment."
Marvin Sordell is also a doubt as he has a sore toe picked up in the Birmingham Senior Cup at Hednesford last week and missed out yesterday against Forest.
Clough hopes that his team can get a break in front of goal at Barnsley after two frustrating 0-0 draws where the Brewers have been the best team.
"Every scrap of a chance we get we have to earn, there are no richochets falling for us, deflections or anything like that at the moment."
